PR-21C is a scientifically developed natural product for pain in the shoulders, arms, legs, neck, back, knees, arthritis in muscles and joints. Also, for use to relieve pain from minor sprains, and trauma (muscle pulls) caused by sports activities, and pain associated with varicose veins. Contains no inflammatory drugs, steroids, biologics, or other synthetic pain drugs.

Directions:Generously apply oil using the roll-on applicator over areas where pain persists. Massage applied oil thoroughly into painful areas with hands. For severe pain such as strains and pulls caused by athletic activity use at least three times daily with ice pack applications intermittently, or as needed. For arthritic pain use 3-4 times daily or as needed. This product gives a warming sensation when applied to the body. Please note: this product is a concentrate and not to be used on children under 12-years old. Do not use this product near private areas of the body as you may experience a temporary stinging sensation.

The PR-21C Story
PR-21C is the result of a ten-year R&D project by Xcel Nutraceuticals to develop a non-drug product to manage acute or chronic pain conditions. Our R&D efforts began with a 35-year literature review of hundreds of publications, identifying multiple biological pathways responsible for pain and soreness in muscles, ligaments, and tendons. Our evaluation of these collected data led us to agree with the consensus of the current scientific community, that most symptoms of diseases and pain is the result of something called “inflammation”.

Inflammation is the body’s response to trauma, stress, biological/muscular degeneration, and infection. The human nervous system responses of pain, swelling, itching, and sneezing are all indications that an inflammation process has begun. Understanding the challenges of attempting to mediate the many human biological chemical pathways that lead to pain expression, over a ten-year period, Xcel Nutraceuticals embarked on an endeavor to develop theoretical chemical models that we believed could interfere with the inflammation mechanisms without disrupting the body's normal healing processes. We then worked painstakingly to find natural substances that mimic our research-based chemical models, ensuring that such substances would not only be effective in reducing inflammation, but would also be safe for human use.

In the end, such chemistries we did in fact discover, quietly embedded in the body of specific plant families, the effective chemistries being components of the plants’ essential oil extracts. The all organic, all- natural product PR-21C, is the result of this 10-year research and development investigation.
